1. About us & contacting us

Phone Master is an online-only store — we don’t operate a walk-in shop. You can reach us by email at [orders@phonemaster.uk], by phone or WhatsApp on [your number], or by post at 54 Duke Street, Chelmsford, CM1 1JA. Devices sent to us for repair, return or trade-in should be posted to that address.

2. Using our website

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse it, attempt to interfere with it, or use it fraudulently. We may update, suspend or withdraw the site or any product at any time. We try to keep information accurate and up to date, but the site is provided on an “as is” basis.

3. Products, condition & images

• We sell both new and refurbished devices. Refurbished items are graded by condition; grading is explained on request and refers to cosmetic condition, not function — every device is checked and covered by our warranty.
• Product images and descriptions are provided by our stock partners and are for illustration. Colours, packaging and included accessories may vary slightly from the images shown.
• Availability is not guaranteed. We source and reserve stock from our partners once you order; occasionally an item may become unavailable, in which case we’ll tell you and offer an alternative or a full refund.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and [include / exclude] VAT where applicable. We take care to price correctly, but if we spot a genuine pricing error we’ll contact you before proceeding and you can confirm at the correct price or cancel. Prices and offers may change, but changes won’t affect an order we’ve already confirmed with you.

5. How ordering works

Because we source items to order, placing an order through the basket sends us an order request — it is not yet a confirmed contract. Here’s what happens:

• You submit your order request and a member of our team reviews it and reserves the item with our stock partner.
• We contact you to confirm availability, the final price, and payment. A binding contract is formed only when we send you that confirmation.
• If we can’t fulfil the order, we’ll let you know and won’t charge you.

6. Payment

Payment is arranged when we confirm your order. We accept [payment methods to be confirmed]. Your order is dispatched once payment has cleared. We do not store your full card details; card payments (when enabled) are handled by our secure payment provider.

7. Delivery

We deliver within the UK by courier or post. Estimated delivery times and any charges are shown or confirmed at the point of order [delivery times & costs to be confirmed]. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If an item arrives damaged or doesn’t arrive, contact us promptly and we’ll put it right.

8. Cancellations, returns & refunds

• Right to cancel: for most items bought at a distance, you may cancel within 14 days of receiving them under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, for any reason.
• Our returns window: in addition, we offer a 30-day returns policy on eligible items in unused, resalable condition with original packaging.
• How to return: contact us first, then post the item back to 54 Duke Street, Chelmsford, CM1 1JA. Please back up and remove any personal data and disable activation locks before returning.
• Refunds are made to your original payment method after we receive and check the item, normally within 14 days.
• Certain items may be excluded (for example, sealed software or personalised items once unsealed). This does not affect your legal rights.

9. Faulty goods & warranty

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. In addition, every device comes with our 12-month warranty. If something develops a fault, contact us and we’ll arrange a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate. The warranty doesn’t cover accidental damage, liquid damage, or normal wear — full details are on our Warranty page.

10. Repairs

• Repairs are carried out by post. Please back up your data before sending a device — we are not responsible for data loss during a repair.
• We’ll diagnose and quote where needed before proceeding. Turnaround times are estimates [to be confirmed] and may vary by part availability.
• We can’t guarantee against pre-existing damage, and some faults may only become apparent once work begins — we’ll always keep you informed.

11. Selling or trading in a device

Any valuation we give is an estimate based on the details and photos you provide, and is subject to inspection once we receive the device. Our final offer is confirmed after inspection; if it differs, you can accept it or ask for the device back. By selling to us you confirm you are the legal owner, the device is not lost, stolen or blocked, and any activation locks have been removed.

12. Your account

Where accounts are available, you’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us straight away if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

13. Intellectual property

The Phone Master name, logo, site design and original content belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Product images and descriptions supplied by our stock partners remain the property of their respective owners and are used to sell those products.

14. Our liability

We don’t exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses, as our products are supplied for private use.

15. Events outside our control

We’re not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (for example supplier shortages, courier disruption or other force majeure). If such an event happens, we’ll contact you and, where needed, offer a refund.

16. Privacy, governing law & changes

How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published here at the time you order.
